11 months!

I am 11 Months old!!! May 21, 2013

Parker Daniel, you are amazing us every single day with all of the new things you continue to learn and do. You are just turning into the sweetest little boy with the most adorable little personality! HOW are you going to be ONE in less than a month? Welp, let's not even talk about that right now. You will always be my #1 baby boy. I am enjoying spending every day with you and watching you grow and hit all of your milestones. You are SO MUCH fun to be with! Even when I take 5 minutes to take a shower, I feel like I am going to miss something new that you are going to do.

We have quite the little schedule down for ourselves (Monday through Friday at least!) You typically wake up around 7:30am and we usually hang out in bed for 30 minutes or so. You like to nurse when you wake up and cuddle with your momma (oh and play with the blinds!) I so love listening to you babble all about in the mornings. You like to tell momma all about your dreams and your plans for the day! Your little voice is the sweetest thing. I know, I am a sap. After we finally make our way downstairs you are ready for breakfast. Lately it consists of rice cereal or oatmeal mixed with baby fruit and of course your Vitamin D. You also eat either a scrambled egg, bagel with cream cheese (shared with mom), or bread with peanut butter. Lately you have been having breakfast at Starbucks with mom, which you loveeee to do! You are SUCH a people watcher, a trait you most definitely inherited from your momma. I mean, they didn't name me "nosey rosey" at 4 months old for no reason, right? After breakfast you usually watch Super Why (your FAVORITE show!!!!) and play until about 10am when you are ready for your first nap. Momma nurses you and you are out like a light. Sometimes momma naps with you in bed, which you love and when that happens you usually nap for at least 1.5 hours. After your nap you play and eat lunch at 12pm. Sometimes we go take a walk or go out and do errands. Around 2ish you are ready for another nap. We have really gotten into our own little groove, and it seems to work well for both of us :)

A few more little tid-bits about what Parker Daniel has been up to....

• Currently eating SO well! LOVES to eat all of his meals with mom and dad and feels like such a big boy. Pretty much done with baby food, except for some fruit in the mornings with cereal.
• Weighed on May 23rd and was 19lbs 6.7oz. Only gained 6.5 ounces in the past 5 weeks. This was a BIG surprise to mom and dad but not really surprising since I am soooo active and burn a ton of calories every day.
• Have been napping very well during the day!
• Had a GREAT Vacation to Raleigh, NC and Charleston, SC. Will post some pictures shortly!
• LOVES the TV show Super Why! on PBS. Gets so excited when it comes on in the morning. It really is a cute show. Mom likes to watch with me.
• Understands so much! And is learning body parts and where they are. Knows how to clap his hands and take his paci out when mom tells him to.
• Loves to climb up the stairs. Hasn't really mastered the art of getting down yet.
• SO CUDDLY and huggable. Loves to give hugs and has just started giving "kisses" this past week. Full, open-mouthed slobbery kisses. Truly the BEST.
• Wearing size 12 months or 12-18 month clothes. Still fits in some 9 month.
• My little fish! Loves the water! The pool and beach!
• Took his FIRST real steps on Wednesday May 29th! Proud momma and dadda!!!
• Knows a few words...Momma, Dadda, no, ya, hot, on
• Loves bath time. As soon as we ask if you want to take a bath you book it for the stairs!

So, I guess we really have been busy, Parker! There are so many new things I want to do with you this Summer now that you are getting so interested and aware of your surroundings. I think tomorrow might be a pool day for us, if we don't make it to the beach! Parker, you continue to impress and amaze your mom and dad. We can't wait to see what the next month brings. You keep us smiling and laughing from the moment you wake up until you go to bed. Your sweet little face is just always so happy. I just can't say it enough how sweet of a little boy you are!!! Wow, I am so blessed to be your mom. Your birthday party invitations have gone out and the party planning is under way. HOW are we going to have a ONE YEAR OLD on our hands in just a few short weeks?! My, how time flies.
