6 Months Old- December 21st
My first Christmas Tree

 My Dearest Parker Daniel,
Mommy and Daddy love you!
December 22nd
Mom's Group Xmas Lunch at Ticket's
December 17th
You are going to be 6 months old on Friday, December 21st. A half year! Wow, the time is flying. You are our pride and joy; our little bundle of energy. You are sitting up and rolling over (which you first did on October 10th, in North Carolina!) You love to stand up and play in your exersaucer. You press the buttons and eat all of the toys attached to it. You are the happiest baby, waking up with smiles and going to bed smiling. You love being put in your highchair because you know that it means that it is time to eat! So far you have eaten rice cereal, oatmeal, avocado, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes, apple sauce, pears, bananas and blueberries. You love everything except for bananas so far! The other night you ate 3 bowls of food for dinner (growth spurt!)! At your 6 month doctor appointment (Thursday, Dec. 27th) you weighed 17 pounds 4 ounces, and were 26 1/4 inches long. You got your vaccinations and the flu shot; you took them like a champ but unfortunately suffered from a fever the next day. Little boy, you are growing so fast! They always say that time flies, but man does it ever. Every Monday we go to our Mom's Group and you love "playing" with your little friends. On Thursday we go to group at the Newport Hospital and you get weighed, then you roll around and "play" with your friends there. You are just the happiest baby who enjoys going with the flow. Baby boy, you are our pride and joy and have brought so much sunshine to our lives! Let's see what the next 6 months bring! Love you so much baby boy!

Letter to Parker

Written 6-14-12 (One week before Parker was born) at 4:45am

Dear Parker,
The time is getting near when you are going to be joining us here in the outside world at any moment now. I have never been so excited or looked forward to anything this much in my entire life. For the past 9 months you have been safe inside my belly; growing all of your organs, eyes, mouth, nose, ears, fingers and toes. At any minute now you will be ready to tell us that you are ready to come join mommy and daddy and all your family and friends who cannot wait to meet you! Little boy, you are so loved and blessed already!

Parker, since mommy was a little girl I have always wanted a baby that I could call my own. I always babysat my younger cousins and neighborhood children. From changing diapers, to playing "house", being around babies and children just never got old to me. On October 21st, my world changed forever. That was the day that I found out that I was growing you inside my belly. On Monday, October 24th, Dr. Gedney confirmed that in just a few short months I would become a mommy; something that I have looked forward to my entire life.

Parker Daniel, I cannot wait to meet you!! For the past few months I have felt you kick and stretch and get the hiccups inside my belly. We have heard your heartbeat dozens of times; loving you more and more each time. We have seen your little face, fingers and toes on the ultrasound screen but we are so ready to have you here in our arms so we can tell you how much we love you! There are so many people waiting to meet you. Your uncles Jack, Jameson and David can't wait to meet their first nephew. Man, do they have alot to teach you! I hope you're ready to throw on a mitt and some shin guards! Your uncle Jack loves to touch mommy's belly any chance he gets! I can't wait until your uncles get to meet you for the first time. They are going to fall so in love. We had an ultrasound at Newport Hospital on May 16th to see what you weigh. On that date, 4 weeks ago, it was estimated that you weighed 5lbs 12oz. Dr. Wilson said you would gain about 6oz. per week. You should be about 7lbs 4oz. right now! Go little boy!

We are so ready to meet you! Your due date is June 16th, this Saturday! If you decide to join us sooner than we would be so excited! Your nursery is all ready to go and our bags are packed for the hospital. Mommy had a baby shower thrown for her by your Grandma and Great Aunt Courtney on Saturday, June 2nd. We got so many nice clothes, chairs, toys, and diapers! On June 6th mommy's coworkers threw us a surprise shower at work and we got a ton more baby things, including your bath tub and baby carriers! Also on June 6th your car seat and stroller arrived in the mail! Your Grandma, and Great Aunts Courtney, Cathleen and Marybeth bought that for us. Parker, we are going to take lots of nice walks this Summer. On July 2nd your Grandma and Grandpa Stalls are going to come meet you from North Carolina- They are going to come and stay with us for a week.

Mommy is tired and needs to get some rest, but just know, we cannot wait to meet you! See you soon little boy!

Love,
Your Mommy

First post! Here we go...

Hey ya'll... Here I am, almost 2013, and it's official. Finally starting my own blog, after following others for about 3 years now. I have many hopes and dreams for where I want this to go. First, I plan to start simple. I want to document my life as a fairly newlywed, mother to a 6 month old, Pinterest lover (gotta get my recipes somewhere!) and Stay at Home Mom. The majority of my posts will be about my baby Parker and all things mom related. I will write about my favorite things; baby items, recipes, home decor, and travel destinations, being some of the few. Some will backtrack the past 6 months but all will tell it like it is; raw details of this whole thing called MOTHERHOOD. Come along with me on this fun ride as we Chase Parker!
